Local columnist and writer Mike Lunsford will be signing his books and meeting with interested readers at Sue’s Hallmark Shop on Saturday, and at Kadel’s Hallmark Shoppe on Nov. 24; both stores are in Terre Haute.
Lunsford, who writes a regular human interest column, “The Off Season,” for the Terre Haute Tribune-Star, will be at Sue’s, at 142 West Honey Creek Parkway (just south of Honey Creek Mall), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. He will be at Kadel’s, at Plaza North Shopping Court, 1800 Fort Harrison Road, also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Author of “The Off Season,” “Sidelines,” and “A Place Near Home,” Lunsford is currently working on two more books; one will be released in the fall of 2013 by Shade Tree Press. Kevin Cullen, Danville Commercial News columnist, says of Lunsford’s work: “Mike’s essays are love letters, hymns to family, friends, quiet walks, and all that is good, true and permanent.”
