Water show kicks off Vigo library program

TERRE HAUTE — The Vigo County Public Library will stage its kickoff event for the summer reading program “Dig into Reading” with a water show from 3 to 4 p.m. on Monday on Walnut Street in downtown Terre Haute.

The summer program will include trucks, crafts, story times, gaming, magic shows, a pizza taste test, a beach bash for teens, an ice cream social and a performance by the Lemon Brothers Band.

The reading program is designed for kids of all ages, from infants to students in 12th grade.

The library hosts infant, toddler and preschool story times.

Older students are encouraged to continue developing their reading skills and win prizes in the summer reading program.

Programs are available at the Main and West branches of the library.
