Art & Holiday Gift Fair Nov. 1, 2 at Centenary

---- — Centenary United Methodist Church will host its annual Art & Holiday Gift Fair Friday and Saturday at the church, 301 N. Seventh St. Patrons can shop for holiday items, glassware, handmade quilts and gifts of all kinds.  

Eight artists will be on hand to offer their handiwork for sale: Curt Buethe with pottery, Anne Bunch with weaving and purses, Carol Chambers with purses, Life of Riley Honey Farm with soaps and lotions, Sandy McClain with jewelry, Stephanie Miller with Hallie Hound Barkery dog and cat treats, Sally Rubey with jewelry and photography, and Stephanie Wilhelm with jewelry and framed prints.

The Men of Note and Claudia will entertain on Friday while homemade appetizers are served. Admission on Friday is $5 in advance and $7 at the door. The event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Patrons will also have a chance to bid on special items during a Friday-only silent auction from 6:30 to 8. Those items include a hand-painted gourd and oil painting by Pat Grigg, a Spode Thanksgiving platter and a trunk.
