‘Strike Out the Burn’ bowling tourney set for Oct. 26

The fifth annual “Strike Out the Burn” bowling tournament begins at 1 p.m. Saturday in Vigo Bowl at 210 S. 91⁄2 St.

The tournament is open to anyone age 21 and older. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $125 for a five-person team. Individuals will be placed on a team for a $25 fee.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st-Place team (one for each member), Hi Game, Hi Series, Hi Game Hdcp, Hi Series Hdcp and Lowest Game.

The tournament is for fun and to raise money for charity, so participants don’t have to be a good bowler to have a good time and make friends. Several items will be raffled after the tournament.

All proceeds go to the Hoosier Burn Camp. To date, tournament organizers have donated $41,000 the the camp.
