Before the Nov. 25 performance, Footlite will host a “Green Eggs and Ham” Brunch at noon.
An event package, including the brunch, a ticket to that afternoon’s matinee, a commemorative photo in a photo booth, story time with the cast and many other fun activities, is available by going online and ordering.
Based on the works of Dr. Seuss, “Seussical” is a musical by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, with music by Flaherty and lyrics by Ahrens.
Flaherty was nominated for a 2001 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music for his work on the musical.
All of the favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz and Jojo, a little boy with a big imagination, have lovingly been brought to life in this musical for the entire family.
The story centers around Horton, who finds himself faced with a double challenge — not only must he protect his tiny friend Jojo (and all the invisible Whos) from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left to his care by Mayzie La Bird.
Admission for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances is $20 for all seats and $10 for the Thursday performances. Footlite members receive a $5 discount of their individual ticket price.
