Magic in the Making is Nov. 1 at the Ohio Building

TERRE HAUTE — FSA Counseling Center will present Magic in the Making on Nov. 1 at the Ohio Building, starting with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar at 5:30 p.m. The magic/comedy show is geared for adults and features the “Rat Pack of Magic” from Indianapolis.

Three longtime friends determined to see their names on the marquee and feel the heat of the spotlight find that through “Impossible Art” they succeed in achieving both. “Impossible Art” chronicles the experiences of performance highs and lows for the “Rat Pack of Magic.” Their performance creates laughter, amazement and will leave the audience spellbound. Included in the “Rat Pack” are James Kesler, Allan Head and Eric Spoelstra.

Kesler has been entertaining audiences for more than 20 years. He performs more than 100 shows each year, including some at county fairs and libraries. Kesler’s television appearances include NBC and FOX televison.

Head has been a professional comedy magician for 20 years. Based in Indianapolis, he has performed his education-themed magic shows to schools across the country. He currently performs at corporate events, schools, private parties, and is in the process of opening a magic-themed dinner theater.

Spoelstra is responsible for dozens of professional magician’s careers. He has helped create magic routines that have been performed around the world. He is known as a magician’s magician, able to fool both professional magicians and lay audiences alike. Tickets are $40 per person or tables of eight may be purchased for $300 from the FSA Counseling Center offices at 619 Cherry St., by calling 812-232-4349 or from board members.
