Special to the Tribune-Star
St. Vincent Clay Hospital Foundation will host the ninth annual Festival of Trees event from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Clay County 4-H Fairgrounds in Brazil.
The festival raises funds for the nonprofit Hospital Foundation, which will be used to further the mission of St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
The evening will combine holiday splendor with a wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and a silent auction. The highlight of the evening will be a live auction of decorated Christmas Trees and other holiday décor.
During the festivities, the Foundation will recognize a community sponsor who has contributed to the event with their ongoing support by presenting them with the “Friends of Sister Justina Morgan” award.
Morgan grew up in Brazil, has roots in the community and has ties to St. Vincent Hospital, where she completed professional training as a registered nurse in 1915. Her legacy continues through this award.
St. Vincent Clay Hospital’s mission is dedicated to spiritually centered, holistic care which sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities.
