Bean soup supper, trail ride to benefit St. Jude

MARTINSVILLE, Ill. — The Clark County 4-H Horse Program is saddling up to host a benefit bean soup supper and trail ride for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

The bean soup supper will be Friday at Martinsville, Ill., Fairgrounds Arts Hall from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Entertainment will include the Willow Creek Praise Band and Clark County 4-H Jazz Band. Proceeds from a freewill offering will go to St. Jude’s.

The Saddle-Up for St. Jude Trail Ride will be on Saturday, beginning at the Martinsville Fairgrounds. Participants need to be saddled and ready to hit the trail at 7:30 a.m. for a 10-mile ride to Moonshine for lunch.

This soup supper and trail ride are open to the public and all attending are asked to give a donation to the St. Jude’s.
