Clabber Girl to host Artisan Trail reception today

TERRE HAUTE — Indiana State University’s Business Engagement Center and the Rural-Urban Entrepreneurship Development Institute will host a reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. today to mark the launch of the Rivers and Roads Artisan Trail.

Steve Pontius, professor of geography at Indiana State and director of the Rural-Urban Entrepreneurship Development Institute, will discuss the Rivers and Roads Artisan Trail at 5:30 p.m.

The reception will feature a demonstration of wood carving by Bob DeFrance and a Rex Coffee roasting demonstration.

The reception will be in the Clabber Girl Art Gallery in the Hulman & Co./Clabber Girl Building at Ninth Street and Wabash Avenue.
