Terre Haute photographers and business owners Mic Orman of Mic’s Pics Photo and Digital Solutions and LaRysa Orman of Images Photography will lead the workshop. They will discuss photography techniques using original ideas to compose and capture professional images.

The workshop sponsored by TREES Inc., The Tribune-Star and the Vigo County Public Library is free to the public. Reservations are recommended because of limited seating. Call 812-232-1116.

“Trees and the River” is the theme for the 2013 photography contest. Photo entries must include one or multiple trees, or part of a tree, and include part of a river. The winning photographs and other outstanding photographs will be exhibited Oct. 6-31 at the library.
