Surveys under way on outdoor artwork

Art Spaces Inc. announces that college students will be conducting surveys throughout April at several outdoor sculpture locations in Terre Haute.

The on-site surveys will be conducted by students from Indiana State University’s Research Lab in the Department of Psychology. The students will be identified by research lab ID badges.

The organization said in a press release: “In an effort to measure the impact of the Art Spaces sculpture collection on the cultural vitality of the Wabash Valley, the organization is requesting people passing by the sculptures to give the student surveyors a few minutes of their time to complete the questionnaire. Community input is valuable to Art Spaces in planning future sculptures, services, programs and its role in the community.”

A similar online survey will be available at tinyurl. com/artspacescons. The online survey takes only a few minutes with an easy rating system and a sculpture locator map.
