Parke Players to present Maple Fair Follies

Parke Players will present Act 1 of a two-part Maple Fair Follies variety show at 7 p.m. Saturday in the historic Ritz Theater at Rockville.

Don Collins will be show host.

Singers, dancers, musicians and comedy acts from throughout the Wabash Valley are scheduled to perform at the fundraising event. The lineup includes Deakin Axtell, Joe Cooper, Carson Cox, Homer Faucet, Jon Frank, Debbie Hamke, Linda Huxford, DonaMarie Kelly, Marty & Collins, Rick Morris, Measa Myers, Kiristen Natalie, Bailey Ramey, Ellen Rohr, Jack Shannon, Dorothy Smith, Andy Snowden, Sammie Tidwell, Wabash Valley Chorus, Ray Wolverton and Roger Wycoff.

The show also will feature a salute to the United State armed forces.

All seats for the Follies are $8 and the doors open at 6.

Proceeds from the Ritz Follies series go toward the continuing operation and maintenance of the Ritz Theater. The 1912 landmark has undergone extensive renovation in the past 10 years, including the recent conversion from film to digital cinema projection.
