Cocktails & Comedy on Nov. 3

TERRE HAUTE — The League of Terre Haute will be hosting its second annual Cocktails & Comedy show on Nov. 3 at the Country Club of Terre Haute.  

Doors open at 7 p.m. The evening includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, auctions and the comedy of Tim Cavanagh.

For more than 20 years Cavanagh has been entertaining audiences with his unique combination of funny songs, jokes and friendly audience interaction. His comedy is clean, smart and clever.

A regular guest on the Bob & Tom Radio Show, his comedy songs have been played on radio stations coast to coast. His special segments are titled “Tim Cavanagh’s Cavalcade of Celebrity Birthdays.” He’s also known on the show for his “One Minute Songs.” His television credits include ABC, Comedy Central, WGN America and Showtime.  

Wabash Valley band The Tools will perform immediately following his act.

The League of Terre Haute is a nonprofit group which educates and provides assistance to the children of Vigo County through their Clothes Closet and Dental Health programs. All proceeds benefit these causes.
