‘Spirit Keeper’ author at Rockville library April 8

K.B. Laugheed, author of the new novel “The Spirit Keeper,” will appear at 6:30 p.m. on April 8 at the Rockville Public Library.

Laugheed is a lifelong Hoosier who currently lives in Arcadia. She will discuss and sign copies of her book at the library, at 106 N. Market St. The book will be available for sale at the event for $16.

“The Spirit Keeper” is a captivity narrative which begins in 1747 when a 17-year-old girl is removed from her frontier Pennsylvania home during an Indian massacre.

As the terrified captive’s fate unfolds in the setting of an unexplored America, “The Spirit Keeper” becomes an adventure, a romance and a poignant account of the universal struggle for understanding.

Visit the author’s website at www.kblaugheed.com to view the trailer for “The Spirit Keeper.” For more information call the library at 765-569-5544.
