Sorority to host ‘vintage high tea’

TERRE HAUTE — The Beta Sigma Phi Sorority City Council will host a “vintage high tea” from 2 to 4 p.m on June 29 in the Masonic Temple at 224 N. Eighth St.

Members of the community are invited to join the BSP members and their guests.

English hats and/or gloves are optional.

Jerry Burns, curator and president of the Terre Haute Masonic Temple Association, will provide English finger foods and a variety of teas, and give tours of the historic building.

River City Art Association artists will display watercolors, oils, pen and ink drawings, glass etchings, fused glass, intarsia art and photography for viewing and purchase.

Cost is $10 with paid reservations due Monday by calling 812-894-2809.    

Joan Kasameyer, general chairperson, and members of Alpha Omega Master Chapter will be hostesses.
