“Wizard of Oz” hits the stage July 26

TERRE HAUTE — The Maple Avenue Summer Musical Theatre bring “The Wizard of Oz” to the stage starting July 26. There will be a cast of more than 50 to sing and dance their way down the yellow brick road to the Emerald City.

Lyric soprano, Erin Reger, will play the lead as Dorothy with David Landes as the Tin Man, Michael Grubb as the Cowardly Lion and Vance Martinez as the Scarecrow.

“The Wizard of Oz” will run for two weekends in the Family Life Center at Maple Avenue United Methodist Church at 12th Street and Maple Avenue.

There will be the show and concessions at 7 p.m. on July 26 and Aug. 2. Doors open at 6:30, and tickets cost $15.

The dinner theater will be at 6:30 p.m. on July 27 and Aug. 3. Doors open at 6, and tickets cost $30.

There will be the show and concessions at 2 p.m. on July 28 and Aug. 4. Doors open at 1:30, and tickets cost $15.
