Holiday Festival Nov. 9 at Ivy Tech

---- — A Holiday Festival and Craft Fair, sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa and Staff Senate at Ivy Tech Community College-Wabash Valley, and a Recycled Art Show are set to take place in coming months at the college, 8000 S. Education Drive.

The Holiday Festival is scheduled 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free with a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Salvation Army.

Submissions for the Recycled Art Show in December will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday and from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Room H130. A public reception and presentation of awards will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 4.

Artists are invited to submit 2D or 3D art made of recycled materials for judging in the following categories: high school, amateur or professional.

Awards will be given for Best of Show, $100; Best High School, 2D and 3D, Individual $50, Group $50; Best Amateur, 2D and 3D, Individual $50, Group $50; and Best Professional, 2D and 3D, Individual $50, Group $50.
