Time to apply for City Arts Grants by Sept. 20

News Release

---- — The City of Terre Haute and Arts Illiana announces the 2013-2014 City Arts Project Grant Program for nonprofit arts organizations and arts providers. The grant program was established eight years ago to provide support to the arts and to recognize the importance of a vibrant arts community to the city’s long-term growth.

The Terre Haute City Arts Project Grant Program provides arts organizations with means to create or expand projects that directly benefit the community in a meaningful way. Arts Illiana administers the grant program and is now accepting applications from Terre Haute nonprofit organizations with quality arts projects that also demonstrate an effort to reach a broader audience, particularly underserved populations in the community.

A panel will review the grant applications in a public process facilitated by Arts Illiana, a Regional Arts Partner of the Indiana Arts Commission, with the mayor’s office making the final determinations.

Applications are available at arts
