Farrington Fest to be Sept. 15 on museum lawn

---- — The Farrington’s Grove Historical District is hosting its annual Farrington Fest from 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 15 on the lawn of the Vigo County Historical Society Museum at South Sixth Street and Washington Avenue. Information on Farrington’s Grove, Terre Haute’s oldest neighborhood, will be available. A children’s area with activities and a bounce house also will be set up. Free refreshments, lemonade, water, popcorn and ice cream will be provided. Live entertainment from Wabash Valley musicians and an artists’ market with works available for purchase round out this neighborhood event.
