Downtown Block Party seeks vendors for Aug. 24 event

TERRE HAUTE — Art and nonprofit vendors are encouraged to participate in the Downtown Terre Haute Block Party set for 1 p.m. to midnight on Aug. 24. Once again, the event will canvas five blocks on Wabash Avenue from Fourth to Ninth streets. Activities for every age will include live music, food, arts vendors, arts, crafts, a Kids Zone, a car show and more.

Artists should register now to reserve/rent a 10- by 10-foot booth space for the event. Spaces are available for $30 without electricity and $50 with electricity. The fee includes one free parking spot in the SkyGarden Parking Garage on the day of the event.

Vendors are expected to be open from 1 to 8 p.m., but can choose to stay until midnight. Spaces are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
