The Marshall (Ill.) Chamber of Commerce is presenting “Trunk or Treat,” a Halloween event in a safe family environment, on Oct. 26 at the courthouse square, on Sixth Street between Archer and Locust streets.
Participants will park their vehicles there, open the trunks or backs, decorate them and then pass out candy from the trunks to trick-or-treaters.
Trunk or treating will start at 6:30 p.m. Games will also be featured, including a ring toss, bean bag toss and glow-in-the dark bowling.
To participate in “Trunk or Treat,” contact the chamber at 217-826-2034 by Oct. 23. Setup is at 6 p.m. Costumes and vehicle decorations are encouraged.
