The Lincoln Trail College Statesmen Singers, Concert Band, Singing Seniors and Jazz Band will present their spring concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the Zwermann Arts Theater in Robinson, Ill.
The concert band performance will include the marches “Amparito Roca,” “We’re Loyal to You Illinois” and Edward Elgar’s “Pomp and Circumstance,” and several new songs.
The band will also offer a special musical memoriam to Andy Griffith and Andy Williams, both of whom died in the last year.
The Statesmen Singers will perform new and old music, including Arcadelt’s “Il bianco e dolce cigno,” Lerner and Loewe’s “If Ever I Would Leave You,” Merle Travis’ “Sixteen Tons,” Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Music of the Night” and Morten Lauridsen’s “Sure on This Shining Night.”
Singing seniors will contribute songs from the 1940s and other old favorites.
The jazz band will end the evening with music from “American Patrol,” “Satin Doll,” “It Don’t Mean a Thing,” “Almost Like Being in Love,” “Beginning to See the Light,” “So Very Hard to Go,” “Blues in Hoss Flat” and “In the Mood.”

The Statesmen Singers and concert band are under the direction of Jeshua Franklin, Singing Seniors are directed by Brenda Harris, and Jazz Band is directed by Don Correll.
