BROCTON, ILL. —
The 13th Annual Brocton Red Barn Market is set for April 5 and 6 in Brocton, Ill.
Items available include handmade soaps, lotions, metal workings, garden decor, glassware, stepping stones, hand sewn items, general antiques, hand crafted furniture and jewelry.
The market will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on April 5 and from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on April 6. More than 50 vendors will be selling their wares.
Several vendors will also be demonstrating various crafts: Enoch Anderson of Paris, whittling; Verne Bear of Paris, rope making; Gary Jones of Montezuma, chair caning; Jerry Rhoades of St. Joseph, wood turning; John Graves of Greenup and Omaha, pottery; Rick Force of Virginia, Ill., chainsaw carving; and Michele Puller Stahly from West Terre Haute, basket weaving.
Admission is $2 and parking is free. Barn Bucks will be given at the door. Food will be available inside the barn, and the American Legion will hold a pork sandwich lunch on April 6.
