CRAWFORD COUNTY HISTORICAL AND ARCHAEOLOGY MUSEUM, 408 S. Cross St., Robinson, Ill.

April 7 — Guided bus tour of historic Palestine area, includes prehistoric and historic sites in the county, interpretative guide of replicated 1812 Fort Lamotte, Lamotte French Trading Post site, Harper House, Lamotte Culture Mounds Houston/Dickson site (1820 general store) and more, 9 a.m. to noon. Museum open from 2 to 4 p.m.

April 9-21 — A replica of Abraham Lincoln’s coffin and a display of Civil War era pieces from the museum’s collection, including an original New York Herald dated April 15, 1865, telling of Lincoln’s assassination; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 9, 12, 13, 16, 19 and 20 and 2 to 4 p.m. April 22.

April 12 — Special “Night at the Museum” exhibit and tours, 7 to 9 p.m.

April 14 — Presentation on Lincoln’s death and funeral by Curtis Rostad, executive director of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association, 2 to 4 p.m.
