Coin collectors plan show Aug. 18 at fairgrounds

TERRE HAUTE — The Wabash Valley Coin and Currency Club will conduct its annual Coin and Currency Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds.

Admission is free, and there will be free gifts for children with a parent.

You can buy, sell or trade coins and currency. There will be a raffle drawing and door prizes.


Melody Makers looking for singers

The Clay County Melody Makers are starting off their 2013-2014 season with an invitation to females interested in singing with the group. There are no qualifications; everyone is welcome.

An informational evening, including music, is planned from 6 to 7:30 on Sept. 9 at St. John’s Church on U.S. 40, one mile east of Harmony Road. Refreshments will be served.
