Boy Scout Golf Classic set for July 26

TERRE HAUTE — Benchmark Fabrication and Steel will host the 23rd Annual Boy Scout Golf Classic on July 26 at the Country Club of Terre Haute.

The proceeds will benefit Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America.

The morning tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m., with check-in by 7 a.m. for a continental breakfast. Lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The afternoon tournament will start at 1 p.m., with check-in by noon for lunch.

Space is limited to 120 in each field. The entrance fee is $150 per person or $500 per foursome.

There will be a $5,000 prize for a hole-in-one on hole 7, with an additional $5,000 donated to the Scouts.

There will also be prizes for additional holes-in-one, longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt, door prizes and cash awards for the top three in each field.
