First Friday celebrates Haunted Hoosiers Oct. 4

The community is invited to join downtown businesses, galleries and other organizations on the first Friday of each month for a celebration of Terre Haute. From 5 to 9 p.m. this Friday, downtown will celebrate “Haunted Hoosiers.” Those interested can join the Haunted Hoosiers trivia contest and be entered in a drawing for a prize basket by picking up a card at a participating business.

The Swope Art Museum, Terre Haute Children’s Museum, Vigo County Public Library, galleries, restaurants and businesses from Third to 14th streets and Cherry to Poplar streets will be open. Many will have special displays, events, products and treats to share. This is a chance to have a fun evening, enjoy art, hear live music, shop for gifts and enjoy the community. Activities for children and adults will take place rain or shine.
