Chili supper Oct. 4 for Families By Choice

---- — A chili supper and auctions to support Families By Choice will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 4.

The dinner will include chili, hot dogs and beverages.

Silent and live auctions will have the theme of “things to make a bed,” and will include pillowcases sent from Facebook fans, baby blankets, throws and quilts. Small items will be in the silent auction. Items for twin-size beds and larger will be at the live auction. Fourteen of the items were donated by the Wabash Valley Correctional PLUS program.

Other products including PicWick Soy Candles, a Carson’s Community Days coupon booklet, Families By Choice “world’s softest throws,” and the book “The Innkeeper’s Wife” by Muriel Drake Ryan will also be available. Live music will be presented by Steve and Janet Swalls of Heaven’s Jubilee.

Families By Choice works to keep beds and food available for the homeless and hungry of the Wabash Valley.
