St. Patrick’s Irish Dash walk/run March 15

The Irish Dash, now in its 11th year, is a 5K run/walk and a one-mile fun run down Ohio Boulevard in Terre Haute. This family-friendly event will take place on  March 15. It serves as a fundraiser for the St. Patrick’s School class of 2015, and is part of the St. Patrick’s Day celebration at St. Patrick’s Church.  

Check-in will begin at 7 a.m. in the St. Patrick’s School parking lot. The one-mile fun run will start at 8 a.m., the 5k race at 8:30 a.m. All Irish Dash participants will begin on the shamrock at 19th and Poplar streets.

All pre-registered participants will receive a long-sleeve technical shirt, food and chipped timing provided by Timing MD. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, overall masters male and female winners, grand masters male and female winners, and age category winners.

Race entry forms are available at Pacesetter Sports, at www.wvrr.org or www.indyrunner.org, or by calling St. Patrick’s School at 812-232-2157. The cost of the event is $20 per participant.
