Tickets on sale now for St. Joseph Parish’s May 16 Spring Sweepstakes

St. Joseph University Parish plans to host its annual Spring Sweepstakes live and silent auctions, dinner and sweepstakes drawing on May 16 at Idle Creek Banquet facility.

Tickets are $100 each, which includes a chance to win $10,000, along with a plated dinner.

Prior to the dinner, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items during the cocktail hour beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Sweepstakes tickets will be sold individually, and reserved tables for 10 are available for $650. That includes five sweepstakes tickets with dinner and five dinner-only tickets. Or a table for 10 is available for $1,000, which includes 10 sweepstakes tickets with dinner.

Tickets purchased by 10 a.m. March 9 will be entered into a drawing for an additional sweepstakes ticket. Only 300 sweepstakes tickets will be sold and are available by contacting the church office during regular business hours, 812-232-7011, or by contacting Ann Welch, 812-878-4533.

St. Joe’s is also seeking auction items from area businesses. Those wishing to donate can Sally Whitehurst, 812-238-6427.

“If your business does not have an item for the auction,” the church says in a press release, “a cash donation to the church would also be greatly appreciated. A receipt for tax purposes will be provided, if needed.”

The St. Joseph fundraising campaign helps fund the church mission, Honduras mission, the local Samaritan food pantry, pancake breakfast and utility assistance ministries.
