Brave enough for Polar Bear Dare?

The Clark County Polar Bear Dare, with 10K, 5K and one-mile “Chiller” courses, will take place on Saturday at Mill Creek Park in Marshall, Ill.

Registration and packet pickup will be from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. CST near the cabin north of the trail head, at 18201 N. Hammer Road. The run/walk will begin at noon at the same location, and routes will feature both paved-road and off-road trails. After the event, participants will be invited to enjoy a light lunch, entertainment and awards.

Registration fees are $5 for the Chiller, and $30 for the 10K or 5K Dare. Proceeds will help fund future Clark County Park District Trails Coalition activities.
