TERRE HAUTE — Looking for a date for Valentine’s Day? How about Super Bowl Sunday? Or just for a cup of coffee? Then Ambrosini’s Pizzeria may have the event for you.

The online dating site Plenty of Fish ( will present a meet-and-greet event 5 p.m. Jan. 31 at the restaurant at 1367 Wabash Ave. There is no cover charge.

Hundreds of singles from across the Midwest have been invited by the events coordinator at Plenty of Fish. Anyone looking to meet someone new is invited.

Event hostess Jessica La Flamme of the band Brazen Subtleties says that there is plenty of fun for everyone on tap.

“We’ve also got plenty of games, door prizes and other fun activities,” La Flamme said of the event.

This is the second of a series of events of this kind Ambrosini’s has hosted. The first took place Dec. 27. “We had people from all over,” she said. “One came from Plainfield, another from Indianapolis, another from Effingham, Illinois. And one from Lafayette! We were really surprised at the turnout.”
