TERRE HAUTE —
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will recognize Wabash Valley artists featured in a spring campus exhibition with a free reception from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 28 on the second floor of Moench Hall.
Artists featured in the spring exhibition include Darrell Staggs, a Terre Haute native and Rose-Hulman alumnus; Alexandra McNichols Torroledo, a local visiting adjunct Spanish professor; and Spencer Young, a retired geologic engineer whose images were created in varying seasons and light at Turkey Run State Park.
Rose Ann Haft, a Rose-Hulman graduate student, gathered images from the Amazon River Basin for a special “Living Branches” collection, including several photographs by Rose-Hulman alumnus Isaac Sachs.
Proceeds from a portion of the sale from Staggs’ photos will support Rose-Hulman, while the sale of Amazon prints will support sustainability projects in the Amazon new forest.
