Indiana author to discuss passion for writing, books at Rockville

Indiana author Dr. Louis F. Janeira, author of three medical murder mysteries, will appear at the Rockville Public Library at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 to discuss his books, “First Do No Harm,” “Seconds from Revenge” and “Still.”

He uses the pen name L. Jan Eira and his books are available for purchase in print and in electronic format. They can be found at,,, or wherever books are sold online.

Janeira is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist in Terre Haute who lives in Zionsville. A few years ago, his love of reading mysteries turned into a passion for writing.

He continues to pursue this, and is presently working on a young adult fantasy trilogy, which he plans to publish within the next six months.

Janeira will discuss his love of writing and his books. A book signing will follow the discussion. There also will be an opportunity to purchase his books.
