The Terre Haute Action Track’s season-opening race, the Clabber Girl “Don Smith Classic” presented by Indiana State University, was postponed early Friday because of weather concerns for later in the night.
The Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series event, paying $3,000 to the winner of the 30-lap feature, has been rescheduled for Sunday.
Pit gates will open at noon. The ticket office will open at 1 p.m., with the grandstands and infield opening at 2.
Engine warm-ups are slated for 3:30, with hot laps at 4 and heat races at 5. The feature should begin at about 7:30.
There’s a variety of ticket prices, including $25 for adult reserved grandstand, $20 for adult general admission grandstand, $15 for adult bleacher, $10 for adult infield, $15 for child reserved grandstand, $10 for child general admission grandstand, $5 for child bleacher and $5 for child infield.
