Artist combines nature, metal

TERRE HAUTE — Stop in the Clabber Girl Museum during the month of October and visit a display of photo art by Wabash Valley artist Becky Hochhalter. The display includes 11 new one-of-a-kind pieces as well as several photo paintings.

Hochhalter’s unique style combines nature photography with metal accents for a contemporary feel. While visiting the exhibit, enter a drawing to win a $50 gift certificate for the artist’s business, Studio 32 Art and Photo. The winner will be chosen at the end of October.

The Clabber Girl Museum is at 900 Wabash Aven., and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Those interested in purchasing a piece from the exhibit can call Hochhalter at (812) 877-9487. To view more of her work, visit www.studio
