River City Art Association Inc. is celebrating Christmas with a new art exhibit at The Landing at Fort Harrison.
An opening reception is slated for 6 p.m. Dec. 6 with the Association’s annual Christmas party to follow.
A variety of art will be on display in the media of surrealism by Alan Griffith; pastel drawings by Don Turner; fused glass created by Edith Acton; acrylic paintings by Monty Jones and Ruthann Brady; and photography and digital art by Jared Heffner, Spencer Young, Jeff Paitson and others. Debbie Anderson’s inlaid wood pieces and Todd Stokes’ etched glass and photography will also be on display. These and other artists will be displaying art for viewing and purchase.
River City Art Association Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting, supporting and enhancing an appreciation of the visual arts in the Wabash Valley. Membership is open to artists and non-artists who would like to support this effort.
