One Person Show now on display at Covered Bridge Art Gallery

ROCKVILLE — Darlene Lenze of Cedar Lake has a passion for landscapes, flowers and animals; especially horses. Her work in oils is currently on display at the Covered Bridge Art Gallery in Rockville.

Lenze’s education includes Ball State University, Rhode Island School of design, 15 years of weekly classes with Wes Berrier of Hobart, plus weekly classes with Northern Indiana Art Association in different media.

In 2011 she not only won Best of Show in the Covered Bridge Art Associate Show, but also two first places, a second place and a third place in the Lake County Fair Art Show.

The Art Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The Gallery is closed Tuesdays.
