A wood carving of a baby blue bird earned wildlife artist Kenny Vermillion Best of Show at the Raven Art Gallery’s Fall Show, which is open through the end of October. Recently Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels presented one of Vermillion’s bird carvings to a Chinese dignitary.
