Patch work on I-70 bridge at U.S. 41 restricts lane usage

TERRE HAUTE — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces patching work today on the Interstate 70 eastbound bridge deck over U.S. 41 will restrict the passing lane on I-70 as well as two northbound lanes below.

INDOT maintenance crews will work today until 3 p.m. and patch work will continue tomorrow from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. The right and center lanes of northbound U.S. 41 will be closed due to work above on the interstate. 

Tuesday, July 2, the westbound driving lane will be closed for patching work on the bridge.

The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather.
