SHELBURN, Ind. –The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane restrictions for U.S. Route 41 in Sullivan County next week. Previously the railroad company has made some interim repairs at their rail crossing 1.2 miles north of Shelburn. Now they are ready to make final repairs and pave the crossing, weather permitting.
Work at this location will begin on Monday, July 8, at about 8 a.m. Railroad crews will close one lane of traffic at a time, while a minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Repairs to the crossing are anticipated to be complete by late evening on Friday, July 12, weather permitting.
