Anniversary listings: Feb. 16, 2014

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Blacketer

Thomas and Vicki Blacketer of Bloomingdale, Ind., will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014. They plan a trip later this year.

It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome and may be mailed to 209 E. Smith St., P.O. Box 212, Bloomingdale, IN 47832.

The couple were married on Feb. 22, 1974, in the Mecca Wesleyan Church at Mecca, Ind., by the Rev. Paul Wright.

Tom is employed at Bunge Milling in Danville, Ill. Vicki is a homemaker.

The Blacketers have two godchildren, Jacob and Sarah Cohen.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Buck

Richard J. Buck and Shannon M. Todd Buck of Terre Haute will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014.

Cards are welcome and may be mailed to 1616 S. 25th St., Apt. 102, Terre Haute, IN 47803.

The couple were married on Feb. 18, 1964, in Vigo County by the Rev. Ralph Miller. Buck is a retired mechanic. She is retired from Johns Dental Lab.

The couple have three children, Richard J. Buck Jr. (Joey) and wife Barbara, Erika L. Edwards and husband John, and Stephen W. Buck and partner Les Helt, all of Terre Haute. They also have four grandchildren, Jessica Downing and husband Joey, Rachael Edwards, Samantha Buck and boyfriend David Johnson, and James Buck; and one great-grandchild.
