Jim and Carolyn “Suzy” Cole of Terre Haute will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 23, 2013.

Mrs. Cole is the former Carolyn Neff.

The couple have two children, Jim Cole (Jennifer) and Christy Trainor (Roger) of Terre Haute; and three grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor and Tara Trainor.

A family dinner with their children is planned.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Exline

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Exline, of Terre Haute, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 19, with an open house for family and friends at Crosslane Community Church. No cards, please.

Exline married the former Brenda L. Pigg, of Cass, Ind., at Methodist Church in Cass, on Oct. 19, 1963. The Rev. O.E. Stephens officiated.

Exline is a retired technical marketer for Emulsicoat Inc. Mrs. Exline is a homemaker. They have two children, Michael and wife Robin Exline of Summerville, S.C.; and Janet and husband Bradley Branam of Terre Haute; and seven grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Morgan

Jerry and Elaine (Seymour) Morgan will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 26 at Traditions in Brazil, Ind.

It is requested that gifts be omitted, but cards are welcome.

The couple were married on Oct. 26, 1963, by the Rev. Lloyd Wright, at the Cory United Methodist Church. He is a retired administrator from Clay Community Schools, and she is a retired postmaster from the Cory Post Office.

They have one daughter, Angela (Gary) Malcom, and a grandson, Hunter, of Indianapolis, Ind.



Mr. and Mrs Lloyd P. Hoskins

Lloyd P. and Mary K. Hoskins will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 24, 2013. Cards and letters of congratulations and continued blessings are welcome.

Hoskins and the former Mary Mercer met during the early 1950s while he was a basketball player for the Reelsville Indians and she was a cheerleader for the Van Buren Blue Devils. They dated and attended Canaan United Methodist Church, where they were married on Oct. 24, 1953.

The couple have resided primarily in Putnam, Clay and Vigo counties during their 60 years of marriage. He was an Indiana State Trooper during the late 1950s and a guidance director in Vigo and Putnam counties before retiring in 1995. She has enjoyed various interests, including painting, cake decorating and gardening. Both are members of Reelsville United Methodist Church.

The couple have two children, Curt Hoskins and wife Sharon of Greencastle, and Debra Hoskins Colwell and husband Bart of Terre Haute. They have also been blessed with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
