Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Lautenschlager of Terre Haute will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family.

Harlan and Martha were married on June 5, 1964, at Union Christian Church, by the Rev. Floyd Miller.

The couple have two children, Dr. Bruce Lautenschlager (and wife Julie) and Shelly Gardner (and husband John), all of Terre Haute. They have five grandchildren, Cody Gardner, Sydney Gardner, Ty Lautenschlager, Jade Lautenschlager and Case Lautenschlager.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mann

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mann of West Terre Haute will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on Friday, June 13, 2014. Jim and Johnine were married by the Rev. Alvin Ricklefs in the Bethany Congregational Church in West Terre Haute. Mrs. Mann is the former Johnine Sutherland, daughter of John and Blanch Cassagne Sutherland.

Jim is retired as the athletic director of West Vigo High School, and currently is the clerk-treasurer for West Terre Haute. Johnine is a homemaker.

The Manns have three children, Jim II and his wife, Eileen Torrence Mann; John and his wife, Cherrie Donnelly Mann; and Jaime Mann Burson and her husband, Chris. They also have five grandchildren, Steven Scank II and Jennie Eldredge, Zane Mann, Savannah Mann, Clae Burson and John Robert Mann. Jim and Johnine also have one great-grandchild, Kambri Scank.

Jim and Johnine are the third generation of Manns to celebrate 50 years of married life. They share this milestone with their parents, Art and Mary Harris Mann; with their uncles and aunts, Dick and Doris Nicholas Mann, and Fred and Thelma Mann Mahalek; and with their grandparents, Frank and Goldie Jones Mann.



Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leonard Rowe

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leonard Rowe of Terre Haute will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 12, 2014. Their children will host an open house at the Collett Park Pavilion from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.

Friends are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted.

Rowe and the former JoAnne Marie Swank were married on June 12, 1954, in Chillicothe, Ohio, and moved to Terre Haute in 1962. He is retired from the English department at Indiana State University, and she retired from the former ISU home economics department.

The couple have three children, Cynthia and Mark Wagoner of Greenville, N.C., David Rowe of Seattle, Wash., and Kathleen and Gary Gemberling of Walla Walla, Wash.
