Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Henriott
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Henriott will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary today.
The couple married on June 30, 1973, at World Gospel Church in Terre Haute.
Mrs. Henriott, formerly Joyce Clark, is retired after a 38-year teaching career in Terre Haute, Augsburg, Germany, and Paris, Ill. Gordon served in the U.S. Army for eight years and is retired after teaching nearly 25 years for the Department of Corrections in Rockville.
The Henriotts have one son, Tom of Terre Haute.
Mr. and Mrs. John Hart
John and Linda (Hunt) Hart will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary during an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. on July 6 in the Rockville Elks at 360 W. Strawberry Road.
Friends and relatives are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards, a written memory or photo would be appreciated.
The couple married on July 6, 1968, in the Methodist Church at Marshall, Ill.
Mrs. Hart, formerly of West Union, Ill., is retired from Sony/DADC and Ivy Tech Community College. Mr. Hart is retired from Eli Lilly & Co.
Hosts will be the couple’s children, John and Amy Hart, Twila and Jody Weber, Erin and Greg Haltom, and Jamie Hart. The Harts also have nine grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kersey
Clyde and Susie Kersey will observe their 50th wedding anniversary today. They celebrated earlier at a surprise party with friends and family in Stables Restaurant.
The Kerseys were married on June 30, 1963, at the Fontanet E.U.B. Church by the Rev. J. Noble Carothers.
Mrs. Kersey, the former Karen Sue Herb, is a retired teacher. Mr. Kersey is a retire teacher and serves as a state representative in the Indiana General Assembly.
The Kerseys have one son, Tim Kersey, and two grandsons, Sam and Cam Kersey, of Overland Park, Kan.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Moss
Ray and Donna (Klain) Moss of Rosedale celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 23, 2013.
The couple were married on June 23, 1973, at Maplewood Christian Church, by the Rev. Doug McAllister.
Ray is retired from Laborers Union, Local 204. Donna is a teller at Vigo County Federal Credit Union.
The couple have three children, Gary Moss and wife Jaime of Terre Haute, Brandy Moss of Brazil, and Brad Moss of Rosedale; and one granddaughter, Kayla Moss of Terre Haute.
