Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Pigg of Cass will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, in the Dugger Community Building in Dugger Park. They will renew their vows at 1 p.m. in the Samaria Church.
Friends and relatives are invited.
The Piggs were married May 15, 1958, in Midland by Cecil Cox.
Mrs. Pigg, the former Shirley Bradbury, worked for Angels Food Center.
Pigg is retired from South East School Corp. in Sullivan.
Hosts will be the couple’s children, Teresa Starkey and husband Mike, Gilbert Pigg and wife Deni, Kim Hux and husband Rollie, Rick Pigg and wife Tammy, and Joe Pigg and wife Lynn; their daughter Tonya Kay Pigg is deceased. They also have nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Lints
Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Lints will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2008, in Mount Calvary United Methodist (Van Cleve) Church.
The couple were married by the Rev. Fred Bolinger.
Mrs. Lints is the former Norma Lee Philippi.
The couple have two children, Steven and Karen Lints.
Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Ray Rooney
Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Ray Rooney of Terre Haute recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
The Rooneys were married April 25, 1948.
Mrs. Rooney is the former Elsie J. Brown of Marshall, Ill.
Rooney is retired, having worked for Indiana Air National Guard as a civil servant and reservist.
The couple have two daughters, Judy Legg and husband Bobby of Terre Haute, and Cheryl Porter of Nobelsville. They also have two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mosier
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mosier of Terre Haute will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during a reception at 6 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008, in the Federal Bureau of Prisons Training Center, and at an open house on Saturday, May 3, in their home.

The Mosiers were married on May 3, 1958, in Washington, Ind.
Mrs. Mosier, the former Venita Jane Gress, is retired from Karen’s Kids Daycare.
Mosier is retired from the CSX Railroad after 37 years.
Hosts will be the couple’s daughters, Beth Roberts and husband Jeff, and Kelli LeMaster and husband Brian both of Terre Haute. They also have two sons, John Mosier and wife Melanie, and Mark Mosier, both of Wapakoneta, Ohio. They also have six grandchildren.
