Mr. and Mrs. Huron A. Seaton will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in their home.
The Seatons were married April 9, 1953, in Terre Haute.
Mrs. Seaton is the former Anna Grady.
The couple have five children, Billie Rose Shouse and husband Arnick, Juanita White and husband Shelby, Julie Cohen and husband Lester, Teresa Moore and husband Randy, and Roger Seaton. They also have 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Glen E. Goddard
Mr. and Mrs. Glen E. Goddard of Terre Haute will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, April 6, 2008. They will celebrate with a trip to Las Vegas, a gift from their children.
The Goddards were married April 6, 1958, in Eastridge Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas.
Mrs. Goddard, the former Patricia Archer, is a retired secretary. Goddard retired in 1980 from General Electric Co. in Clearwater, Fla., and in 2001 from Mason Hanger Co. at Newport Army Ammunition Plant.
The couple have four children, Timothy Goddard of Newnan, Ga., William Goddard of Houston, Patti Stovall of Richmond, Ind., and Laura Land of Terre Haute. They also have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
