Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wright of Terre Haute will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday April 5, 2008, with family and friends during a luau hosted by their children.
The Wrights were married April 5, 1958, in St. Mark Church by the Rev. G.O. Martensen.
Mrs. Wright, the former Clarabell Handick, retired from Vigo County School Corp. in 2000.
Wright retired in 2000 from Kroger.
The couple have three children, Sandy Shewmaker of Simpsonville, S.C., Tom Wright of Terre Haute, and the late Mike Wright. They also have six grandchildren.
