MedExpress to open newest Indiana center in TH

TERRE HAUTE — MedExpress, the national leader in providing high-quality, convenient health care, plans to open its eighth center in Indiana later this month at 3051 S. U.S. 41 in Terre Haute. Construction has already begun on the site, which was acquired from API Minor Emergency Clinic. MedExpress will be hiring and staffing the center with a full professional medical team.

MedExpress is dedicated to supporting the health and wellness of its communities. The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week, beginning Wednesday.

MedExpress is a patient-centered, physician-led organization that is staffed by a professional medical team and serves as a portal of entry into the healthcare system, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure patients’ optimal care. A full-service, neighborhood healthcare facility, MedExpress treats illnesses and injuries, offers preventative services such as screenings, flu shots and sports physicals, performs X-rays, labs and stitches and partners with employers to maximize employees’ health and medical care. MedExpress is a state-of-the-art healthcare provider, employing the latest in electronic medical record keeping, and it continues to innovate in order to provide the best services to its patients.

“We’re excited to expand our presence in Indiana, and we are currently in the process of completely renovating our center in Terre Haute — including the interior and exterior — to meet our high standards so we may provide our patients with the most considerate care in a warm, welcoming environment,” said Dave Johnston, area manager of business operations at MedExpress.

MedExpress plans to open additional centers in Indiana throughout 2013. With this opening, MedExpress will operate 116 locations nationwide, with centers spanning across Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
